Hashtag
A hashtag is a word label marked with the “#” symbol. A keyword or phrase is attached to the “#”, and its purpose is to label particular posts and group them in one place.
Hashtags are used most often on social networks such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. They are inserted directly into the post text or into a comment. When a user clicks a hashtag, they see all the posts labelled with it. That helps users find content that interests them faster. Hashtags also help the posters themselves: they organise content, increase a post's reach and drive user interaction. On the Invelity Instagram we use hashtags on every post.
